Welding method
Welding methods are divided into four types: flat welding, vertical welding, horizontal welding and overhead welding. Different welding methods should be selected according to the structure, shape, volume and location of the welding workpiece.
In flat welding, the welding seam is in a horizontal position, the operation technology is easy to master, the diameter of the electrode can be larger, and the production efficiency is high, but the phenomenon of unclear slag and iron content is easy to occur. The transportation methods used for welding are all straight. If the weldment needs to be welded on both sides, the front welding seam is welded, and the speed of the transportation is slower to obtain a larger depth and width; when welding the reverse welding seam, the transportation speed Go faster and make the weld width smaller.
During vertical welding and horizontal welding, due to the molten metal flowing down by its own weight, defects such as incomplete penetration and welding flashes are generated, so a smaller diameter electrode and a shorter arc welding are used. The welding current is 12% smaller than that of flat welding.
Overhead welding is difficult to operate, and a smaller diameter electrode should be used for welding, and the shortest arc should be used for welding.
